Highlights:

The 9th Annual* Barhorst Fun Run happened this year. (*We started in 2013, but missed 2019 because Theodore was due and 2020 because of covid.) We had a good mile race followed by a 5k that included several dedicated children. A picture of times is below.

I finally got around to doing my Origins individual puzzle. Outside was beautiful, although I did have to dodge a 4-year-old with a sprinkler once or twice:

Highlights:

Oh, I forgot to mention last month that Matthias turned 6! He had a fabulous dragon cake crafted by Aunt Jacque while the whole family was in Hocking Hills. That picture will be among the other Hocking Hills pictures.

This month Olivia turned 12 with minimal fanfare and Theodore turned 4 with slightly more fanfare. We actually delayed Theodore's birthday by a day because I was coming home from a trip with my friends on his actual birthday. Bryan and the older kids made a big deal about how his birthday was tomorrow (wink wink) and he woke up on his 4 years and 1 day birthday none the wiser and ready to celebrate.

School has started and there are 4 attending now. Matthias is pretty excited to be in first grade, and Kaitlyn is an excellent mother hen making sure he finds his classroom each day. Theodore and I are having a lot of quality time.
