December 21-January 4

Just pictures again this week.  I'll get some words to you next week.  :)

Pictures:
Two old pictures off Grandma's phone:

The girls play hide-and-seek in the closet:

Christmas Day at Grandma and Grandpa's:

Gretchen and Daddy read a book:

Olivia's new toolbelt from Oma and Opa:

Uncle James watches a movie with Olivia and William:

Olivia and Gretchen help clean up by pushing a box of toys back to the playroom:

Four babies in a bathtub:

Gretchen looks like she's headed into a hazardous situation, but it's just goggles and a sippy cup:

Olivia loves her blanket from Great-Grandma A:

One of Olivia's gifts was a foam paper-doll set of Anna and Elsa.  It came with stickers to decorate their dresses.  Unfortunately, the stickers peel off paint when removed.  Being 3, Olivia put stickers on Anna's face and then (later) covered the unsightly blue splotches with more stickers because she didn't like the way they looked.  Luckily for Olivia, her mother thought it might be a good project to repaint the face.  When Olivia is older and claims I never do anything for her, kindly point her back to this post and the pictorial evidence of my 3 hour outpouring of love.

  1. Someday she will proclaim that she will take her broken toys to mommy "because she can fix anything" :)

    1. That is my goal, I think. In fact, I told Bryan that story as he examined the finished product.

  2. Love the goggles and sippy cup! Still impressed by your painting work too :) That reminds me, we still need to finish painting the play kitchen!
